At the museum, enjoy an engaging multimedia adventure through the interior of the Statue of Liberty or step inside the warehouse where Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi built the Statue of Liberty. A series of multimedia displays are reminiscent of the sculptor’s studio and take you through the process of constructing the monument. However, you need a separate ticket for this and you must book a few months in advance, as only a limited number of people are allowed into the crown. To get into the crown of the Statue of Liberty, you have to climb 354 steps of a narrow staircase and the only thing you are allowed to bring is the ticket and a camera. All other belongings, including wallets and keys, must be stored in a rented locker.
