Chelsea in New York: Is it worth a visit?
Chelsea is a trendy neighborhood in the heart of New York. In Hudson Yards next to the Vessel, you will also find the beautiful shopping center, The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards. The shopping center consists of seven floors and you will find various shops from small and very large brands. You can also enjoy delicious food and drinks in the shopping center at various nice eateries, such as Shake shack, Magnolia bakery and Russ & Daughters, where you can eat delicious bagels.
Little Island in Chelsea
Little Island is New York’s newest city park with a great view of Manhattan. Little Island is a unique floating urban park above the Hudson River. Little Island is a wonderful place to just relax and walk around. The best view of Little Island is from the adjacent Pier 57. Here, take the elevator to the top floor to visit the Pier 57 Rooftop Park. At 2 acres in size, this rooftop park is one of the largest free rooftop parks in the city. On the bottom floor of this building you will also find a food market, the Market 57 where you can get a fresh lunch, then take it to the park for a picnic.
